IT Support Analyst to c£30k – Based Preston


This progressive MSP & IT Support Company is seeking to recruit an experienced 2nd line Support Analyst to join an established team focussing on support of client infrastructure solutions including MS Server, Active Directory, Exchange, O365 and Desktop. The role will involve remote support (75%) and site visits (25%) to clients predominantly based in the North West.


With previous experience of providing 2nd line support, ideally in an MSP environment, you will possess excellent troubleshooting and communication skills, be a team player and customer focussed.


Technical Skills


2 years+ experience of supporting:


  • Windows Server 2008 – 2016 & Desktop (W10)
  • Active Directory (inc Group Policy)
  • O365 – set up, portal, and / or MS Exchange admin (hosted /on prem)
  • Anti-virus etc
  • Printer set-up and troubleshooting
  • LAN


Other skills of interest include: Backup technologies, VMware, Hyper-V, Azure, Datto, Security awareness, Network Monitoring, Azure, SQL Server, Printer set-up. You will be a good communicator, client service focussed, and a team player with excellent troubleshooting skills.


This is an excellent opportunity to join a close team who can offer a challenging role with plenty of interest and variety. You should possess a full UK driving licence as you will be expected to travel to client sites. Based from Preston.


Salary: up to c£30,000 plus benefits
